Niseko is one of Japan’s most famous powder ski destinations. The first days were icy, but Mt. Yotei against a clear sky reminded us why we came. Then Hokkaido powder arrived — light, dry, almost unreal. With festive moments on the slopes and warm dinners each night, the trip became more than skiing; it became a story.
Skiing the Southern Hemisphere was a dream. From Thredbo to The Remarkables and Coronet Peak, we explored each mountain’s charm. Queenstown’s lakeside views, softer snow, cloud seas, and alpine sunsets made skiing a year-round adventure — perfect for families with kids building confidence on snow.
The European Alps were our ultimate ski test — legendary peaks, storybook villages, and terrain that demands respect. From Chamonix to Zermatt and St. Moritz, each stop felt distinct. The scenery was breathtaking, the culture rich, and every run challenged us. The experience combined adventure, beauty, and family moments we’ll never forget.
Our Colorado trip covered six resorts in twelve days — big names, small mountains, and everything in between. The kids skied stronger than ever, even when snow wasn’t perfect. From Copper Mountain to Keystone, each stop had its own personality. Each mountain brought new challenges, making our Colorado ski trip both memorable and rewarding.
We skied all three resorts in Canada’s “Ski Big 3”: Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Mt. Norquay. While the heated chairlifts were a treat and lessons were more affordable than U.S. resorts, snow conditions during our visit were icy and inconsistent. Still, the dramatic Rocky Mountain scenery and festive Christmas atmosphere made the experience unforgettable. It was a true winter adventure — beautiful, challenging, and very, very cold.
